Gian Brack is an artist and illustrator based out of New York City. 

Emphasizing traditional materials and techniques, I capture the emotional subtleties of my subjects and translate narrative through intentional composition and color.

Painting is my medium of applied anthropology- an opportunity to study the mechanics of human experience, our relationship with nature, and our perception of the world.

I look forward to each new piece as a study and potential revelation, merging classical discipline with contemporary investigation of what it means to be human.
