Gian Brack is an artist and illustrator based out of New York City. 

Emphasizing traditional materials and techniques, my work captures the emotional subtleties of subjects and translates narrative through intentional composition and color.

Painting is my medium of applied anthropology- an opportunity to study the mechanics of human experience, our relationship with nature, and our perception of the world.

I look forward to each new piece as a study and potential revelation, merging classical discipline with contemporary investigation of what it means to be human.
